Meet Stacy E. Garrity, CNP
A Boston-Area Nurse Practitioner Devoted to Helping You Reach Your Aesthetic Goals
Stacy E. Garrity, CNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of clinical nursing experience, who holds a BS in nursing from the University of Massachusetts and an MS in nursing from the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College, where she studied women’s health. She is passionate about collaborating with her patients to achieve their aesthetic goals and seeks natural-looking outcomes through a variety of treatment options.
In addition to practicing aesthetic medicine, Stacy is an independent nurse consultant who provides support to aesthetic medicine practices and educational programs for strategic planning and policy development.
As the recent clinical development manager of one of the largest aesthetic medicine schools in New England, she is experienced in developing curriculum for aesthetic providers and creating educational classes for teams of educators. Stacy is currently working as a consultant to Jonathan Sykes, MD, a world-renowned anatomist and Beverly Hills plastic surgeon on the expansion of his aesthetic medicine educational programs.
Prior to developing her expertise in aesthetics, Stacy’s nursing career was primarily focused on sexual assault and sexual violence. She spent almost a decade practicing as a sexual assault nurse examiner and is the former director of a national telemedicine center where she led a team of providers on a multi-million-dollar Department of Justice grant-funded project to develop the nation’s first telemedicine center providing real-time support to providers caring for recent victims of sexual assault.
Stacy is a past clinical assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College, where she taught in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs for more than 10 years, and is a former staff nurse at Brigham and Women’s hospital where she practiced in high-risk obstetrics.
While Stacy has transitioned from a trauma-focused provider to an aesthetic nurse, she continues to enjoy giving lectures on sexual violence to high school and college students throughout the greater Boston area.
